2. Collection and Processing of Personal Data

When using this service, the following data is processed:

  • Uploaded files: Documents you upload for conversion are temporarily stored on our server.
  • Server log data: With each access, IP address, time of access, requested file and HTTP status code are automatically logged.

3. Purpose of Processing

Uploaded files are processed exclusively for the purpose of document conversion. Server log data is used to ensure operation and for debugging purposes.

4. Legal Basis

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in ensuring operation).

5. Storage Duration

  • Uploaded files and conversion results: Automatically deleted after 24 hours.
  • Server log data: Stored for debugging purposes and manually deleted when no longer needed.

6. Data Sharing

Uploaded files are processed exclusively on our local server. There is no sharing with third parties and no transfer to third countries. Conversion is performed entirely on our own infrastructure.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)

8. No Cookies, No Tracking

This service does not use cookies, tracking or analytics tools. No user profiles are created.

9. Technical Notes

Access via the API requires an API key. Data transmitted via the API is subject to the same privacy provisions as files uploaded through the web interface.
